Trasco Bioteen Soil Conditioner (Soil Sulphur): A basic Soil Sulphur amendment product with 80% Sulphur in the product, is meant for soil application in areas where the Soil Sulphur level is poor and much below 20-ppm.

Target crops : Cereals, Pulses, Plantation crops like tea Coffee, Vegetables, Fruit crops, Medicinal plants, Flowers of all types ,Orchids etc

Classification and mode of action : TRASCO BIOTEEN SOIL CONDITIONER is meant to be used on all agricultural cropping fields, where the farmers are involved in intensive cropping methods leading to Sulphur deficiency in soils .This product is also strongly recommended to be used on all Field crops, plantation crops, and horticultural crops, This product is very useful to reclaim sodic soils or soils with high EC value. The sulphur in the product replaces the Na ions and helps the plant take up applied fertilizer with great efficiency.

Product Potential: Farmers can use Trasco Bioteen soil conditioner to elevate the calcium, sulphur, and magnesium status of the soil by applying the above product, on their fields before sowing a crop during the field preparation @25 Kgs/Ha. This product is specially useful in crops like Tea, oil seeds where the oil content increases, and in cruciferous crops where the oleoresin content increases. A general application of the product will help in the increase in yield of the crop.

This product is very helpful to reclaim sodic soils where the Na or the sodium content of the soil is high and interferes with the normal crop production. Alkaline soils responds well to the application of the above product.

The tea soils of Northeast India are getting depleted of sulphur to a great extent due to replacement of SOA by urea for quite sometime. Studies have shown that soil application of sulphur @ 20-45 kg/ha improves yield and quality of tea. The current recommendation is that sulphur should be applied at 20 kg S/ha only if the soil test indicates values lower than the critical limit (40 ppm available sulphur). It can be applied to well drained tea fields as a broadcast along with the NPK fertilizers in spring. Studies have also shown that available sulphur is correlated with high organic matter. This product also supplies calcium to the soils hence buffering the soils for crop growth.

Dosage

For All Agricultural crops
Apply the product @ 25 Kgs/Ha as soil application incorporating the product thoroughly in the soil , during the last stages of land preparation.Light irrigation is useful.

For Tea Crop: Can be used as soil application along with manure NPK @ 25Kgs/Ha, or during the winter in Prunned areas when earthing up is practiced, when FYM, etc are incorporated in the soil, Soil Sulphur application should be followed by a light irrigation. Soil Sulphur application improves sulphur levels of the soils and gives the crop a healthy boost for the next seasons flushing properties. The shoot weight and over all yield increases.
